Dr. Coll grew up in Coral Gables, FL (near Miami) and came to Michigan to attend the University of Michigan. She graduated with High Distinction in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then attended Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with Honors in 1991. She met her husband at U of M, so decided to settle in Michigan. She has owned Chicago Drive Veterinary Clinic since 1997. She grew up with lots of pets and knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. She started working for veterinarians when she turned 16 and learned all aspects of the business - working in the kennel, receptionist, and as an assistant. Dr. Coll and her husband John have three kids. Her son Nathan graduated from the University of Notre Dame. He studied Computer Science and was a member of the Marching Band. Her twin daughters Avery and Meghan attend the University of Michigan. They enjoy swimming, volleyball, water polo, orchestra, and are animal lovers too. Dr. Coll's hobbies include: knitting, biking, swimming, and attending as many of her kids activities as possible. She has two cats adopted from Lake Haven - Eddie and Minnie. She also considers the hospital cat Gus a part of the family since he goes home with her on occasion.
Kristie started working at Chicago Drive Veterinary Clinic in 1998 as a Veterinary Assistant. Kristie and her husband have two children - Briana her eighteen year old daughter and Jamija her fifteen year old son. She has two cats - Annie and Casper. You will frequently find Kristie at the Snap Fitness for a great work out. She thanks God daily for her family and friends that make her life complete!
Julie has been working at Chicago Drive Veterinary Clinic as a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist for 10 years. Julie and her husband Todd share their lives with two pugs - Louie and Doobis. She has two Exotic Short Hairs named Ella and Betsey and a Lynx Point named Chulita. Julie enjoys being with her friends and family and loves to read anything she can get her hands on in her spare time.
Michelle graduated from Baker College's Veterinary Technician Program and learned a lot during her internship here at Chicago Drive Veterinary Clinic in 2007. She has been working as an LVT - Licensed Veterinary Technician - for almost 7 years now. She loves all types of animals and has a four foot long ball python. She also has a young German Short Hair Pointer named Otis. Michelle and her husband Jason have two adorable sons, Carter and Garret. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, and working on her Creative Memory books.
Fang grew up in Grand Rapids. She enjoys spending time with her 4 cats and Boxer/Lab Mix. She joined the practice in 2013 after graduating from Baker College in Muskegon. In her free time, she reads and spends time at the dog park.
Nathan joined the Kennel Staff in 2007. His hobbies include: reading, swimming, hiking, and video games.
Avery joined the Kennel Staff in 2010. She enjoys reading, swimming, and playing Water Polo.
Meghan joined the Kennel Staff in 2010. She enjoys playing volleyball, swimming, and playing with her dog.
Anna joined or grooming staff in April 2013.
Corinne joined our grooming and kennel staff in May, 2013.
